 Laurence Mitchell Requests Minimize
Location: BlogsThe Meissen Blog
Posted by: Laurence Mitchell 18/01/2007

Recently, I have been inandated with requests to either purchase or authenticate Meissen that is not Meissen.  I must catagorically state that I have no interest in items that are deliberate fakes, that have  fake cross swords marks or  Dresden porcelain, although. I have interest in any item deemed genuine.

Furthermore, I would appreciate that all vendor's accept my opinion, that,  my reply does not intend to offend. But tthat I may state an item is a fake or copy myay appear to be offensive.  In any event where I describe any peice as not being genuine,  I am quite prepared to quanitfy  my opinion.

I would  also be interested in posting any image that maybe deemed a copy  on buymeissen in order that all Meissen enthusiasts can recognise the many copies of Meissen on the open market and I will always gladly answer any email that requests my advice as to whether an item is Meissen or not.

Thank You

Laurence Mitchell
