 Cycling Accident Minimize
Location: BlogsThe Meissen Blog

The first Buymeissen website went live five years ago at about the same time  My main sport is cycling and rarely do I take my car into central London even when I have to carry valuable Meissen. During one evening whilst cycling to view an auction in Chiswick, I was knocked off my bike, by a hit and run, falling upon my rucksack broke my fall. When the car hit it felt like a sledge hammer hit me and it took several minutes for me to recover. Quite suprisingly I was still able to cycle the 15 miles home. Even more surprisingly was the monkey band figures I was carrying didn't sustain any damage.

Most often my bike travels everywhere I do New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Phoenix but I dont recommend cycling in 120F plus temperatures. Fortunately I didnt bring it with me this time to New York but then cycling in deep snow may have created a problem as would have been carrying the Bottger tankard and 18th century Kaendler groups I had with me today. Even so I managed to do something extreme. With a carton in one hand and a bag in the other containing my days purchases, I managed to jog up 32 flights of stairs! Nevertheless in all the years I have cycled carrying my stock I am yet to have an accident touch wood!
