If you are writing a letter it is customary to write a persons name to which the letter is addressed unless you are unaware of that persons name. I receive dozens of emails to which some are addressed to Laurence Mitchell. Unless I see that the mailing address is very foreign I have to presume that the person emailing me doesnt understand English and may use one of the translating tools to translate their letter hence a garbled email. I would prefer that if any email is sent without my name, 'Laurence Mitchell or Laurence', it would be better advertised in forums then at the very least I will know if you are writing me a letter you have become a member. Emails that are not addressed to me may not be replied to because it tells me that person has not had the courtesy to look over Buymiessen and maybe just joining to get some free advice.
